File Management

PDF's and Txt files are used when filing in CM/ECF. To locate the saved files easily the Court suggests the following:

Document/Pleading Naming Convention

We recommend when creating the document to be filed electronically, you first look on the Document Event Directory (Alpha or Category) to see if an event is available for the filing. If it's available, name the document according the document event. If an event is not available for the filing, please contact Court Info at 918.758.0126.

File Management

We recommend that you create "Folders" for each of your client's documents, while saving your filename, for easy access when browsing in ECF.

PDF Naming Convention

The court uses a naming convention which identifies the document.
We use the case number and/or the client's name and an abbreviation of the document being filed.
Example:
1234mtnRS = 01-1234 Motion for RS
DoeMtnRS = Client’s name Motion for RS.
