The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has recently sent out notices that the court has adopted a local Chapter 13 Plan form for this district, in compliance with Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3015.1 (effective December 1, 2017).  The New Chapter 13 Plan form must be used in all pending Chapter 13 cases and new cases filed in this district December 1, 2017.  The Chapter 13 Plan form is now available in a PDF fillable format that expands or reduces the amount of text depending on the information needed in each section.  It is also available in Word format.  The PDF fillable form can be found on the Court's Website under the tab "For Attorneys">"Chapter 13 Plan Information.  Our Chapter 13 Plan form has been provided to the bankruptcy software vendors.   However, the Chapter 13 Plan Form cannot be filed using the Case Upload function in the software.  Attorneys in the Eastern District of Oklahoma must file the Plan through CM/ECF.  To assist the attorneys, the Court has provided instructions on how to file a Chapter 13 Plan.  You may access these instructions by clicking the link at the bottom of this Notice and on the Court's Website under the tab "For Attorneys">Chapter 13 Plan Information.
Please be reminded that the Court will be holding it's final training session on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 am, in the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, Courtroom 215, Okmulgee, Oklahoma prior to the Chapter 13 Court Docket.  Presentations of the new Chapter 13 Plan Form, procedural changes, and changes to the local rules will be presented by the Chapter 13 Trustee and the Clerk's staff. The training has been approved for 1 hour of CLE credit.  No advance registration is required.  Please print the Chapter 13 Plan form from our website, instructions for filing included with this notice and Local Rules Changes from our website to bring with you to the training.   If you have any questions please contact:  Debra L.
