IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF OKLAHOMA REGARDING CM/ECF CHANGES Effective 12/1/17

NOTICE REGARDING TEMPORARY OUTAGES ON 12/01/17

On December 1st 2017, at midnight, the Court’s CM/ECF filing web site will be temporarily shut down for approximately 2 hours (from midnight until 2:00 AM CST) while we install the latest updates to BK-CMECF versions 5.2.1.   We anticipate having the CM/ECF system back online shortly after midnight on December 1st 2017.     Several of the standard and local Bankruptcy forms have been revised, reformatted and renumbered in this version of CM/ECF. The new forms will take effect on Friday, December 1, 2017 and are required to be used beginning on 12-01-17.

NOTICE REGARDING UPGRADE TO TRAINING DATABASE

Additionally the Court has now updated our Training (and Testing) CM/ECF database

to allow software vendors or ECF filers to test their software with the Court’s ECF system using the latest changes which become effective in the Live database on Dec 1st  2017.

NOTICE REGARDING FILING OF THE CHAPTER 13 PLAN

Some of the December 1st changes include:  The Chapter 13 Plan must be filed separately from the “Case UpLoad” event by going through the Bankruptcy menu and selecting “File a Chapter 13 Plan” (additional options may be available depending upon the selections made from the resulting screens).

NOTICE REGARDING FILING SUPPLEMENTS TO PROOFS OF CLAIM

Amended Rule 3002 includes a new provision allowing holders of a claim that is secured by a security interest in the debtor’s principal residence to file any attachments required by Rule 3001(c)(1) and (d) as a supplement to a timely filed claim within 120 days of the order for relief. See Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3002(c)(7)(B). Supplements to proofs of claim under Rule 3002(c)(7)(B) can be filed in one of two ways. They can be filed as a supplement to a claim through the Court’s CM/ECF system, which will then appear on the claims register as a supplement.   The event is found under Claims Action>Proof of Claim Attachment 3001(c)(1)(d).   This method requires a CM/ECF login and password. Alternatively, supplements can be filed as amended proofs of claim through the Court’s Electronic Proof of Claim program ("ePOC"). Filing an original or amended proof of claim in ePOC does not require a user login and password

Thank you for your patience while we are making this change and if you have any questions concerning it, please do not hesitate to the clerk’s office at 918-549-7200.
