Photo I.D.

  • All adult visitors seeking entry into the courthouse will be required to present a valid photo ID issued by a federal or state government agency, such as a passport or driver's license. Other forms of identification may be used at the discretion of the Court Security Officers.
  • REAL ID-compliant identification is not required.
  • If photo identification is not available, please be prepared to explain your need to enter the courthouse. You may call the court in advance regarding any special circumstances – 918-549-7200.

Metal Detectors

When you enter the courthouse, you must go through the metal detectors staffed by the Court Security Officers. Please remove jewelry before proceeding through the metal detectors.  All bags and packages are subject to screening.  For this to be an efficient process, please be aware of the following guidelines:

  • No weapons of any type are allowed in the courthouse.
  • No knives, scissors or anything with a cutting edge may be brought into the courthouse.
  • No aerosol containers (hair spray, shaving cream, etc.) are permitted.
  • No food or drink may be taken into the courtrooms or into the areas immediately adjacent to the courtrooms.
  • Individuals with pacemakers or cochlear implants may request screening via a hand-held wand.
  • Tobacco use, including vaping, is prohibited in the courthouse.

 Electronic Devices

  • Per General Order 20-4, the possession and use of electronic devices (laptops, tablets, cell phones, smart watches, cameras, audio/video recorders, portable video games, etc.) in the courthouse is restricted to attorneys and government officials.  Attendees at certain ceremonial events such as naturalization proceedings may be allowed to bring into the courthouse cameras and/or cell phones.
  • Attorneys may bring in electronic devices upon showing their bar card or other documentation of their official business before the court.
  • Even persons with allowed devices are subject to screening.
